Undoubtedly, mobile SEO is distinct from its desktop counterpart in significant – sometimes very subtle – ways. As mobile usage continues to grow, user behaviors and expectations change too. Simply resizing the desktop site for a smaller screen won’t do. Before you start with mobile optimization, you can use Google’s free test for mobile friendliness to check the mobile performance of your website. Google does not work only the way it used to work, and as a result, this impacts a lotof websites built a certain way to rank high in Google. Setting up a successful SEO strategy can be quite hard. Investing in your skills will definitely pay off though. We use keyword research to identify potentially useful queries for which a site is not receiving traffic. Keyword research is often abused by aggressive Web marketers who pursue an endless keyword strategy. Endless Keyword marketing continually adds keyword targets to a Website’s list of desired queries. This leads to an overabundance of content production and production standards suffer.
Negative reviews from ex-employees are against Google’s guidelines
In a nutshell, the combination of seamless user experience with quality content can have a very positive impact on your SEO rankings. Writing for your customers is the key to success. Do your thorough keyword research and create articles and content that is optimized for SEO, and something your readers would love to read. Use keyword research tools to select an appropriate list of keywords that would work well for your content. Website crawl-ability and making a website searchable goes beyond making sure Google can “crawl” the website. Understanding how a website’s users (including Google) are navigating a website is key to building an information architecture. Building the information architecture in a way that mirrors their thought processes will help both user types discover information on a website. Search engines optimize their results pages — especially their mobile search results pages — to display businesses that are located near the searcher. This is a good thing for local businesses because local online searches lead to visitors and purchases. To optimize your search engine results it is important to make your URL easily identifiable. Include words that are relevant to the site as opposed to numbers and symbols. People will recognize those keywords in the URL, and are more likely to click on your link if they think it will bring them to a relevant page.
The main aim of your content
Not every piece of content will be interesting for each and every user out there. Your website will get in front of a random audience from time to time. However, your job is not to please everyone, but to create content tailored to the needs of your customers. Be informative. Above all else, ensure you have informative content. The most entertaining writing doesn’t make you an authority on much more than entertainment. Most search engines like links of either type, although more specifically the one way links. One way links are more especially relevant where the website that has a link to your website has related content to that of your website. The same applies to the importance of the website page which contains the incoming linkto your website – this can be determined using tools such as Google PageRank. Obviously, the greater the ranking, the higher the value of that inbound link in terms of search engine rankings. Most SEO consults cover a local area. Though you can simply just add a tracking code to your web pages for website analytics tools to start measuring your web stats, Google Analytics (and products similar to it) have website plugins and add-ons that tremendously expand the reporting capabilities. Not particularly pioneering, but 10 years ago, it was a tried and tested tactic. To contextualise, marketers should be aware of using keywords just for the sake of it. If you’re producing a valuable piece of content – which you all really should – then by virtue the keywords associated with the article’s topic should already be well covered.
Make sure that the links you build are natural
Gaz Hall, a Freelance SEO Consultant from SEO Hull, commented: "When it comes to Search Engine Optimization, the content will play a huge role in your rankings. As they say, “Content is King, Link Building is Queen”. Remember, all the hard work you do in building up your links will be for naught if your content is garbage." Do your maths - its one of the primary resources for this sort of thing. Its as simple as KS2 Maths. Really! Setting the value of the "rel" attribute of a link to "nofollow" will tell Google that certain links on your site shouldn't be followed or pass your page's reputation to the pages linked to. Nofollowing a link is adding rel="nofollow" inside of the link's anchor tag. One of the great way to build relations with your website users is through Blog Commenting. Initially building relations might take time but once you start doing regularly, you will be noticed. Moreover, you will gradually start building relations with the bloggers or site administrators etc. Type in your keyphrases. At least look at the first page (the top 10) and see what everyone else has in their description tags. Does it look like they’re being pulled from the copy on their pages? A great way to incorporate all those valuable local keywords into your website is to create valuable content. Fresh, unique content has great SEO benefits, but it will also help to establish you as a reputable, reliable and knowledgeable business. Plus, you can use it for link-building efforts and share it on social media to widen your reach there, too.
Optimize images with your key term
In Google search results, you only have space for 70 characters in your title. If your title is longer than that, it gets truncated (meaning the end will be “….”). (Previous estimates put this number at 50 to 60 characters, but Google recently expanded the width of the search results, and therefore can show slightly longer titles.) Over the years I've seen webmasters and SEOs being concerned over boilerplate content, such as repetitive legal disclaimers or navigation on the header or footer of your pages. But Google time and time again has said they can handle it and they don't penalize for this type of content. On page optimization is very essential to gain visibility in the search results as without optimizing your on page factors, you won’t be found in the Search Engines. Once you’ve done a thorough analysis of your chances to rank on a specific term, the next step is to write an amazing article and optimize it accordingly. And hit publish. Needless to say, Google is going to make meta descriptions and meta titles short for mobile sites. So it is advisable that you should not write long Meta descriptions and titles. Else, they will be truncated by Google.
Don’t let flowery language get in the way of a clear message
When building backlinks to your website, you have to make everything look as natural as possible. It’s normal that a website has most of its links to the homepage. If you can’t meet a visitor’s need on that page, direct them to a page (or even another site) that can. The user will greatly appreciate it and your webpage’s authority will be boosted. Depending on your business, it can be important to be listed in Google's local results. Google's local results use a different ranking algorithm than Google's organic results. How can you make sure that Google will list your website? What do you have to do to improve your rankings in the local results? Your competitors can be a goldmine of information that can inform every aspect of your marketing and rocket your website’s traffic. Do the main pages of the site have enough content? Do these pages all make use of header tags? A subtler variation of this is making sure the number of pages on the site with little content is not too high compared to the total number of pages on the site.
